“The museum originally opened in 1995 with an admission of $1.50/adult and raised that to $2/adult in 2005,” says Museum Director, Katherine Unruh. “The upcoming change better reflects the value people receive from their visits and will help care for the museum’s collection.”
Children’s admission will remain the same at $1/child. Mueller Company employees and retirees, along with any guests that attend with them, will continue to enjoy free admission year-round.
To keep the museum accessible to as many people as possible, the Hieronymus Mueller Museum also announces a commitment to host two free admission days every year. Those free admission days will be announced in advance and published at MuellerMuseum.org and Facebook.com/MuellerMuseum. You may also subscribe to the museum’s free quarterly newsletter to find out when free admission days will be.
Hieronymus Mueller Museum tells the story of Hieronymus Mueller, his family, and the company he founded. Visitors can see some of Hieronymus’s own hand tools, Mueller products through the years, and explore how Mueller Co. continues to impact their daily life to this today by delivering water and gas when and where it’s needed. The museum offers a gift shop and activity sheets for children and adults, including a scavenger hunt activity that accompanies the exhibit.
The museum is open every week of the year: Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 4pm, except major holidays. For admission and more, visit MuellerMuseum.org.
